To bridge the gap between Employers and potential Employees

Careers in Construction Week

Each year the Treasure Coast Builders Association Charitable Fund puts on a Careers in Construction Week to introduce our young adults to the trades.

All participants are introduced to potential careers in the construction and other related industries. Learning hands-on skills with a career fair on the last day featuring companies that are ready to hire!

Well-trained employees are essential to the success of TCBA members, especially those that require workers in the skilled trades of carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

TCBA is committed to helping members meet their workforce needs which is why our Workforce Development Task Force is engaged with key community partners in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee counties to equip workers with the skills they need to succeed.

2026 Careers in Construction Week Events

Participants 18-30 years old receive hands-on experience in different trades such as electrical, surveying, HVAC, and carpentry, along with essential life skills training from Monday-Thursday. The program wrapped up with a career fair on Friday, where employers were ready to hire.
