Treasure Coast Builders Association Charitable Fund Scholarship
The TCBA Scholarship is open to any resident of Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, or Okeechobee County resident who is at least 16 years of age.
Applicants may apply for one of the following scholarship options:
- Employer-Employee Support: A grant of up to $1,000 provided to an employer upon hiring. The funds must be used to support the employee, covering expenses such as tools, work clothes, or payroll. The grant is distributed after the employee completes 30 days of employment.
- Technical/Vocational Education: Financial assistance for students pursuing a technical or vocational education. Award amount will be paid to the institution.
- Trades Certification: Support for individuals actively working towards or receiving a certificate in the trades. Award amount will be paid to the institution.
Award amounts will be based on need.

Priority recipients are those who participated in Careers in Construction events (formerly known as bootcamps)

Future Builders of America Scholarships
Scholarship applications are available to FBA Chapters in January of each year. Awards should be available in May and will be paid according to the type of scholarship being applied for. FBA offers three types of scholarships as noted:
Tools of the Trade – Intended for High School Students going directly into the construction industry and who are in need of assistance to purchase the proper tools for that particular job. Scholarships will be paid directly to the employer to assist with purchasing the required tools.
Accelerated Skills Training Programs (AST) – Intended for Students that are pursuing short–term training in a variety of construction skills. Scholarships will be paid directly to the training institution.
College Tuition – Intended for Students in good standing at a Florida secondary education program or post-secondary education who are pursuing a construction related career. Scholarships will be paid directly to the school.
Application Deadline
Applications should be received at the FBA office by Friday, April 1, 2025. Applications received after the deadline may not be considered.
Eligibility
Students should be Florida high school seniors or currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Florida and are pursuing a construction industry related career. Chapter FBA Participation is preferable but not required.
